Alejandro Vargas Sánchez is a prominent academic and professional in corporate finance and portfolio management, with more than 20 years of experience in research, teaching, and administration. He is the Dean at UPB, promoting excellence in financial education in Bolivia. He holds a Doctorate in Economics and Administration from UPB, a Master's in Administration with a specialization in Finance from EMI and the Tecnológico de Monterrey, and is a CFA Charterholder. Additionally, he integrates advanced technologies such as AI and Machine Learning in financial analysis. He is a member of the Investment Committee of SAFI Mercantil Santa Cruz.
