Anai Herrera has two master's degrees, one in Economics with an emphasis on gender from American University and one in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University, both in Washington D.C. Additionally, she holds two postgraduate degrees, one in Gender Analysis in Economics from American University and another in Economics and Finance awarded by CEMLA along with the Bank of Guatemala and Rafael Landívar University of Guatemala. She has taken specialized courses in project evaluation and quantitative methods, including at the Center for International Development at Duke University. She currently works as a researcher-teacher on the Santa Cruz campus.
