Carlos Eduardo Jijena Michel holds a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Pablo Olavide University in Seville (Spain), as well as an International Doctorate (University of Salamanca – University of Lisbon) in Business Economics with the mention "Cum Laude". He completed a Master's in "Research in Management and Business Economics" at the University of Salamanca, Burgos, León, and Valladolid (Spain). He also has a specialization in Integrated Planning and Management from the University of Lleida (Spain) and two Master's degrees obtained in Bolivia. He has published various articles in international academic journals indexed in Scopus and JCR (Q1/Q2), presenting his work at conferences in Germany, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Colombia, and Bolivia. The research projects he has developed have been funded by international organizations (Banco Santander, European Union, Fundación Carolina). He is currently a full-time professor in the Commercial Engineering program and is part of the research team at the university.
