Cecilia Saldías, a Civil Engineer from the Universidad Mayor de San Simón, with a Master's degree in International Soil and Water Resources Management from Wageningen University (Netherlands) and a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences: Soil and Water Management from Ghent University (Belgium). She has over 14 years of experience in consulting for development projects and studies in collaboration with international organizations, mainly in Bolivia. Her areas of expertise include water and sanitation, integrated water resources management, treatment and reuse of wastewater, and water quality. She is a lecturer in sanitary engineering at UPB and a member of the Technical Committee for Water Quality Standardization of IBNORCA.
