Daniel Felipe Sempértegui Tapia has a PhD and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Thermal and Fluid areas from the University of Sao Paulo (USP) in Brazil. He also completed a postdoctoral program at Brunel University in London, UK. He has publications in highly regarded indexed journals in his field. He is a research professor at UPB and the director of the Alternative Energy Laboratory.
