Edwin Durán Zurita obtained a master's degree in Power Systems Analysis from Clemson University (United States) and studied at the undergraduate level at Tec de Monterrey (Mexico). He has worked in both the public and private electric sectors nationally and as a consultant in his area of expertise, as well as holding leadership roles in various types of organizations. With experience in Higher Education in Mexico, the United States, and Bolivia, he currently serves as the Director for Institutional Relations at UPB. Previously, he held the positions of Senior Advisor in University Development and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.
