G. J. Andrés Uzín P. is an industrial engineer and holds a master's degree in Development Studies with a specialization in Public Policy and Management from the International Institute of Social Studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam, funded by the World Bank. Andrés is a doctoral candidate in Economics at UPB. He has published articles in newspapers, magazines, and books in Spanish and English on COVID-19 and its effects on the economy and development. Professionally, he has been a senior advisor at the Executive Secretariat of GAMLP, vice president of ENTEL, and general manager of Public Private Management for over ten years. He is currently the acting dean of the Olave School of Business at the La Paz Graduate Center and academic director of the Graduate School of Public Management. Additionally, he directs several master's programs and diplomas at the Graduate School and has coordinated and edited three books of articles and summaries of public policies published by UPB.
