Juan Carlos Durán graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés in 1989. He obtained his Master of Arts in Organizational Communication from The University of Oklahoma, U.S.A., in 1994 and his Master's in Hemispheric Defense and Security from the Universidad del Salvador and the CID in the USA in 2006. He graduated as a Doctor from the Department of Business Organization at the Polytechnic University of Valencia UPV in 2015. He holds executive positions and conducts consultancy work in private and public organizations, as well as in foundations dedicated to the fight against poverty.
