LUIS MARCEL BARRERO MENDIZABAL, PH.D.
Associate Professor
Graduated in Computer Science from the University of Geneva, Switzerland, in 1996, with a specialization in Teleinformatics and Operating Systems. He began his professional career in Switzerland as a Systems Administrator and, upon returning to Bolivia, joined the Universidad Católica Boliviana as a Systems Administrator and lecturer. Later, he led the Administration and Support area of the ILACO Project, under the Ministry of Finance. Since 2001, he has worked at UPB, where he contributed to the development of the curriculum for Computer Systems Engineering and serves as the head of the program.
