Renán Orellana Lafuente is a Electrical Engineer graduated from the Universidad Mayor de San Simón – Bolivia (1997), with a master's degree in Engineering from the Universidade de São Paulo – Brazil (1999), currently pursuing his doctorate in Energy and Development (CESU - UMSS). He has more than 25 years of professional experience, specializing in rural electrification, renewable energy, and efficient use of electricity. In the academic field, he has worked as a lecturer at both undergraduate and graduate levels in areas related to: electrical machines, energy conversion processes, renewable energy, project evaluation, power systems, and the preparation of degree projects.
