The Ethics and Transparency Committee (CET) is an advisory body that monitors and regulates compliance with ethical and transparency principles in research at UPB.
It is made up of researchers from UPB, with experience in various areas of knowledge.
The CET acts with autonomy and independence in issuing its judgments and without academic, personal, or economic pressures or interests.

The fundamental role of the Ethics and Transparency Committee (CET) is to protect the rights, life, integrity, health, privacy, dignity, and well-being of individuals who participate or may be indirectly affected in the research projects carried out with the support of UPB, whether inside or outside its facilities with participation from institutional staff or external support; in addition to ensuring the scientific validity of the projects evaluated by the CET.
Exceptionally and with the full agreement of the Committee, the CET conducts evaluations of research projects external to the express request of those interested, based on the CET regulations.
