Center for Research in Industrial Processes

Description

The Center for Research in Industrial Processes (CIPI) is a research unit dedicated to developing technical-scientific solutions that enhance the competitiveness and productivity of the industrial sector, promoting efficient and environmentally sustainable processes in the region and the country.

Research Areas
  • Natural Resources: development of industrial products and processes based on the sustainable use of natural resources and Bolivian biodiversity.

  • Ecologically Sustainable Industrial Development: implementation of cleaner production technologies and waste treatment in established industries.

  • Energy Efficiency and Optimization: applied research aimed at the efficient use of energy in the national industry.

Institutional Approach

CIPI articulates applied research and technological innovation to support the modernization of industrial processes, contributing to sustainable development and the responsible use of resources.

Institutional Profile
  • Creation Date: August 2004

  • Rectoral Resolution: UPB-RR-012/2004
