Description
The Laboratory of Industrial Technological Innovation and Robotics (LITIR) of UPB aims to strengthen the training of professionals capable of developing applied research and generating new technologies aimed at the productive context of Bolivia.
Purpose and scope
LITIR contributes to the development of technology-based enterprises and the increase of business productivity, through the automation of systems, integration of technologies, and innovation in the design and construction of intelligent devices and machines.
Areas of work
Industrial maintenance: development of hardware and software for vibrational analysis and condition-based maintenance (CBM) of industrial equipment.
Industrial control and automation: design and implementation of automation systems that integrate cutting-edge technologies to optimize industrial processes.
Applied robotics: development of intelligent systems for monitoring natural disasters and solutions in bio-mechatronics aimed at rehabilitation and robotic control.
Institutional approach
The laboratory articulates research, innovation, and technological transfer, promoting practical solutions that respond to the needs of industry and society.
